What to do if you missed your quarterly tax payment?

Last updated: October 24, 2024

There are several reasons you might have missed the deadline to pay your quarterly taxes, such as insufficient funds or a banking issue. Fortunately, you can still make the payment by following a few simple steps.

HOW CAN I PAY MY TAXES AFTER THE DEADLINE?

Here we explain how to pay your taxes in the following steps:

  • Access the payment portal of the Spanish Tax Agency. You can access it from this link. In the "Pay self-assessments" section, select "Payment by direct debit" or "Payment by credit card."
  • Identification. Make sure you have your digital certificate or Cl@ve ready to identify yourself and access your self-assessments.
  • Fill in the form. Once inside, you will need to complete the form with the following information:
    • Model: You can find the model number in the Reports section of your Xolo account.
    • Fiscal year and period: This corresponds to the year and quarter you need to pay (for example, 202X and Q3 for the third quarter of 202X).
    • ID and surname, first name: Your personal identification.
    • Amount to pay: The outstanding amount, which you can also find in your Xolo account.
  • Complete the payment. After entering the details, confirm the payment. The system will provide you with a payment receipt, which you should save.

If you need to check the model and the amount to pay, you can access the Reports section in your Xolo account. There you will find a copy of the submitted tax form with all the necessary details. If you have any further questions, feel free to contact us through ayuda@xolo.io.

Remember that although the payment was made after the deadline, it is important to complete it as soon as possible to avoid additional penalties or interest.
