Which data do I need to submit for expenses?

Last updated: December 03, 2024

To ensure your expenses are accurately recorded and compliant with Dutch tax regulations, you’ll need to provide the following data for each business expense:

  1. Receipt or Invoice: A clear copy of the original receipt or invoice detailing the expense.
  2. Date of Expense: The date when the transaction took place.
  3. Supplier Details: The name and VAT number of the supplier, if applicable. You can also choose some directly on the Xolo expense panel.
  4. Description of the Expense: A brief description explaining what the expense was for and how it relates to your business activities.
  5. Amount (Excluding and Including VAT): Specify the total cost, along with a breakdown of the amount before VAT, the VAT itself, and the final total amount.

Providing these details ensures that your expenses are correctly documented, making it easier to claim deductions and stay compliant. If you’re using Xolo, you can easily upload and categorize each expense on the platform, which automatically organizes everything for streamlined VAT and tax reporting.
