The Social Security number. Everyone needs it and no one remembers it. If you need yours to change to another accounting solution, do some paperwork or want to write it down on a post-it, you are in the right place.
Here is a step-by-step guide to check your Social Security number (NUSS).
First, go to the Social Security website, go to the "Acreditación del Número de la Seguridad Social" section and select the option "Solicitar informe”:
You will have 4 options to identify yourself and be able to access the procedure:
- "Cl@ve Permanente". For this option you will need to be registered in the Cl@ve system.
- "Cl@ve PIN". You will also need to be registered and have the "Cl@ve PIN" app on your cell phone.
- "Vía SMS”. With this option, you will only need your DNI/NIE number, date of birth and telephone number to identify yourself.
- "DNIe o certificado". For this option you will need to have one of these identification methods available.
As soon as you log in, your accreditation will be automatically generated and you will be able to download it by pressing "Descargar documento”.
Easy, isn't it? Now you can do any procedure with your Social Security number. And if you forget to write it down, you can repeat this process as many times as you want.
